ATTENTION SENIORS:
There will be a voter registration table outside of the cafeteria on Wednesday, March 20th during all lunches. Representatives from the Bucks County League of Women Voters will be here to help!
If you will be 18 years old by April 23, 2024, you will be eligible to vote in the Primary Election. Bring your driver's license or know the last four digits of your social security number to complete the voter registration form right there.
This will also make you eligible to vote in the Presidential Election on November 5th.

On Friday, the William Tennent Jazz Ensemble took their talents to the Quakertown High School Jazz Festival where they won best trombone section and the best rhythm section for the entire night. Shout out to Chris Goebel, Ethan Campman, Michael Hartline, Emilie Tran and Trevor Gregory for the trombone section and Dariya Yazvinskaya, Dan Hillman, Andryck Hernandez-Ramierz, Paige Mattis and Albert Chacko for the rhythm section. On top of that, both Chris Goebel and Albert Chacko received best soloists of the evening.
Three members of the Speech and Debate Team competed in the Pennsylvania High School Speech League State Championships at Bloomsburg University. Congratulations to Quinn Cataldi who placed 5th in the state in Congress!
Five members of our team participated in the Warminster Rotary Club's Four-Way Test Speech Contest. Kaitlin Amaev captured 1st place and has advanced to the regional speech competition. Nicholas Mento placed 2nd and Josef Fontanos placed 3rd in the contest. Congratulations, Kaitlin, Nicholas, and Josef!
ATTENTION SENIORS:
There will be a voter registration table outside of the cafeteria on Wednesday, March 20th during all lunches. Representatives from the Bucks County League of Women Voters will be here to help!

Quinn Cataldi, Kaitlin Amaev, and Aiden Eddleman-Kantor have qualified to compete in NCFL Nationals in Chicago over Memorial Day weekend! Congratulations to Quinn, Kaitlin, and Aiden!

We are asking all students, faculty, and staff to show their support on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday by wearing your favorite college gear. Seniors, we will be taking a photo on the main staircase on Thursday the 14th. Wear the college gear for the school you are attending or might be attending. Listen for the announcement to gather at 10:25am.

Tickets for this event will be sold at all lunches next week on Wednesday March 6, Thursday March 7, and Friday March 8 for $5.00. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. The William Tennent annual College Fair will be held on Thursday, March 14 from 7:00-8:30 in the cafeteria. This will be a great opportunity to visit over 70 colleges and post-secondary institutions. Both parents and students are welcome to attend.
Clubs/Sports/Activities:
On March 7 at 6 pm, WTHS will host its Annual Open Mic Night in the WT Library. Students who would like to perform original poems, stories, songs or musical pieces are encouraged to sign up! Last year we had over 25 student performers recite works in the library which is transformed into a coffee house. Show your talents and raise your voice. We can't wait to see what you can do!

This year the 9th Annual Behind the Lens Film Festival is on May 1st in the auditorium. The deadline to submit entries is April 5. Your films will be judged by industry professionals and Awards will be given during the red-carpet gala. See Mrs. McCaffery in the TV studio with any questions. For more information on how to submit your film, just scan the QR code found on Canvas, outside the TV studio and in other locations throughout the building. You won't want to miss your chance to have your work on the big screen.

Tickets for this event will be sold at all lunches next week on Wednesday March 6, Thursday March 7, and Friday March 8 for $5.00. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. This is an event that you do not want to miss!
Unified Track will start next Wednesday and Thursday, March 6th and 7th. Practice will take place from 2:30 to 4:00. All returning players please make sure your physicals and paperwork have been turned in to Ms. Poole in the Athletic Trainers Office or see Coach Mulville. Any new member wishing to join Unified Track please see Coach Mulville in C-102, Coach Kowal in C-101 or Coach Webb in the 12 grade house office.
Although Black History Month has concluded it is still time to stop by the library and pick a book by a Black author to delve into the rich culture and engage in a meaningful book discussion on March 19th in the library from 2:30 - 3:30. Be sure to sign the QR code upon signing out your book. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Moody-Ali in room C204or Mrs. Banchi in the library.

Bucks County Community College will be providing free placement testing at William Tennent on March 12th. Dual enrollment students are required to take the placement test. Seniors can complete their placement test on this date as well.
