Yesterday, the Southampton Fire Department visited Davis Elementary as part of Fire Safety Week! Firefighters took the time to teach our students important fire safety tips to help keep them safe at home and in their community.
Students had the opportunity to learn valuable skills, including what to do in the event of a fire, how to stay calm during an emergency, and the importance of having a fire safety plan at home. The visit gave our Davis Dolphins a hands-on look at the role firefighters play in keeping our community safe, while reinforcing lifesaving lessons in a fun and engaging way.
We are so grateful to the Southampton Fire Department for taking the time to share their knowledge and expertise with our students. Fire Safety Week is a wonderful reminder of the importance of fire prevention and preparedness, and visits like these help make these lessons come to life for our students.
Thank you to the Southampton Fire Department for your continued partnership and commitment to keeping our students and community safe!
