Last year we had over 25 student performers recite works in the library which is transformed into a coffee house. Show your talents and raise your voice. We can't wait to see what you can do!

This year the 9th Annual Behind the Lens Film Festival is on May 1st in the auditorium. The deadline to submit entries is April 5. Your films will be judged by industry professionals and Awards will be given during the red-carpet gala. See Mrs. McCaffery in the TV studio with any questions. For more information on how to submit your film, just scan the QR code found on Canvas, outside the TV studio and in other locations throughout the building. You won't want to miss your chance to have your work on the big screen.

We will be hosting Dress Up Pop Up Shop on Wednesday March 6 from 2:30-3:30 pm in the breakout area outside of Señora Rodrigues 's Room (C119). Let us help you make your dress up dreams come true!
Voices for Change/Equity Club would like students, faculty and staff to participate in a Black History Month reading event. Let’s take a peek into this rich culture and people as we celebrate this month. Please stop by the library and sign out a book from our library's display of Black Authors. There is a wide selection of diverse genres. There is something for everyone. This event will take place until March 19th ending with an engaging book discussion and light refreshments in the library. So sign out a book and embark on this exciting journey with us. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Moody-Ali in C204 or Mrs. Banchi in the library.

Student tickets are $5 and general admission tickets are $10. All tickets will be $10 at the door! Hello Dolly will be performed Friday, March 8th @ 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 9th @ 1 & 7 p.m. This will be Ms. Flack and Ms. Ajah's last production at William Tennent, and there will be 36 William Tennent alumni coming out to be part of the finale! We hope to see you there!

The William Tennent Boys Volleyball team will be hosting open gyms this week on Monday and Thursday night from 7:00 - 9:30 PM. All players interested in trying out for the team are encouraged to attend. Tryouts begin on March 4th from 3:00 - 5:30 PM. If you have any questions about the boys volleyball program, see Mr. Marchetti in room A118.
Attention William Tennent students, Fashion Night is coming on March 13th, 2024 and will feature designs and styles from your classmates in Grades 9-12. Tickets for this event will be sold at all lunches next week on Wednesday March 6, Thursday March 7, and Friday March 8 for $5.00. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. This is an event that you do not want to miss!
Unified Track will start next Wednesday and Thursday, March 6th and 7th. Practice will take place from 2:30 to 4:00. All returning players please make sure your physicals and paperwork have been turned in to Ms. Poole in the Athletic Trainers Office or see Coach Mulville. Any new member wishing to join Unified Track please see Coach Mulville in C-102, Coach Kowal in C-101 or Coach Webb in the 12 grade house office.
There will be an important meeting for anyone interested in playing tennis this year on Friday. Boys that want to join the tennis team should meet in rm A220 at 2:30 on Friday.

We are happy to announce that Tennent will have its first Spring Fling Dance on Saturday March 16th at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria. The theme is Golden Hour!
This dance will have its tickets sold to underclassmen first, since this used to be called the 9/10 dance. However, ALL grades can attend! You can bring guests from other schools. Tickets cost $25 each, and we will have Chick Fil A, Yum Yum Donuts and much, much more like previous dances.
You must bring a permission form for you and any guests you have. These are available in room C113 with Mr. Goldsman, in A102 with Mr. Fries or on your grade level canvas page. Tickets will be sold at all lunches on the following dates:
Monday, February 26th: 9th and 10th graders only

Please make sure to get that paperwork to your counselor no later than the end of this week (February 23). She will present information on nursing, speech pathology, kinesiology and exercise science, social work, recreational therapy, health information management, and more.

On March 7 at 6 pm, WTHS will host its Annual Open Mic Night in the WT Library. Students who would like to perform original poems, stories, songs or musical pieces are encouraged to sign up! Last year we had over 25 student performers recite works in the library which is transformed into a coffee house. Show your talents and raise your voice. We can't wait to see what you can do!

Do you like watching movies? Are you currently binge watching something on Netflix? Then why not make your own movie? This year the 9th Annual Behind the Lens Film Festival is on May 1st in the auditorium. The deadline to submit entries is April 5. Your films will be judged by industry professionals and Awards will be given during the red-carpet gala. See Mrs. McCaffery in the TV studio with any questions. For more information on how to submit your film, just scan the QR code found on Canvas, outside the TV studio and in other locations throughout the building. You won't want to miss your chance to have your work on the big screen.
The Health Science Exploration Club will be hosting Caitlyn Moynahan, the Assistant Director of Temple University’s College of Public Health. She will be here on Wednesday, February 7th at 2:30 in room C101 to discuss the many programs available for undergraduate students.
She will present information on nursing, speech pathology, kinesiology and exercise science, social work, recreational therapy, health information management, and more.

The mentors and teachers in The Panther Writing Lab are here to help. Come to the Library, daily during all lunches, if you'd like Writing Lab help in navigating Naviance, drafting a scholarship essay, or even if you simply don't know where to begin. Key Club and Black and White are teaming up to get more people registered for the upcoming March Blood Drive! Black and White teams will earn points toward their competition for the greatest number of students registered per team. Black and White Synchronized Swimming
The competition that sets our spirit night apart from all others is Synchronized Swimming! Teams work to create a synchronized pool routine complete with lots of lifts and fancy flips! This performance wows the crowd at Pool Night, which takes place on Thursday, February 22nd.
If you are interested in trying out for your team, please fill out the form on your Class Canvas page!
· Tryouts will begin on Monday, February 5th in the pool
o Black Team will meet from 4:30 - 5:25
o White Team will meet from 5:30 - 6:25
· All participants must fill out the Permission Form before participating in tryouts.
